2026 Season Outlook

Indiana is not sneaking up on anyone this year. The Hoosiers won 25 matches in 2025, the most in program history, finished fifth in the Big Ten for their best conference showing since 1999, reached the NCAA regional semifinals for the first time in fifteen years and closed the season ranked 13th nationally. The Big Ten's preseason poll placed them sixth. His 2026 recruiting and portal work brought in Isabel Clark from San Diego, a two-time First Team All-West Coast Conference selection, Keondreya Granberry from Tennessee, and top-110 recruit Sara Snowbarger.

What to Watch in 2026

The Big Ten added a conference tournament for 2026 and, to make room, cut the regular season to a single round robin - Indiana plays all seventeen league opponents exactly once, with no rematches and no home-and-home cushion. The Hoosiers drew nine league matches at Wilkinson Hall and eight on the road. October decides the season: seven of ten matches are away, including a Pacific Northwest swing at Oregon and Washington, and the hardest stretch on the calendar runs from October 23 at Ohio State to Penn State at home on the 25th and straight into back-to-back nights at Michigan State and Michigan. Nebraska visits Bloomington on October 8 and USC three days later.

The Hoosiers open on the road at Louisville on August 28 before playing a match at home. Wilkinson Hall, dedicated in January 2019 and shared with Indiana wrestling, seats 3,000 and sits at the corner of East 17th Street and North Fee Lane, just north of Cook Hall on the athletics campus.
